Technical Project Management: Readiness Initiative
Key Update
Quarter 1, July – September: Met to define CEMI functional objectives and deliverables. Initiated the process of clearly defining the objectives and deliverables for each CEMI functional focus area. Key discussion points included:
- Establishing success drivers and how they differe from current practices.
- Clarifying functional-specific goals and outcomes.
- Introducing time tracking and cost calculation mechanisms.
- Evaluating cost-benefit analysis for each initiative.
- Comparing actuals to budget to ensure financial alignment.
- Loggin resource hours and associated costs.
- Reaching program-level resource agreements.
- Defining how to monitor and report progress.
Next Steps
Quarter 2, October – December: Present and identify Project Management Office differences between Ithaca and WCM; compare practices.
