Business Analyst Joins the Donor and Engagement Experience Project
The Donor and Engagement Experience Project (DEEP), part of the Cornell Experience Modernization Initiative (CEMI), continues to build momentum as teams across Ithaca, Cornell Tech, Weill Cornell Medicine, and the Lab of Ornithology work toward a unified approach to donor and alumni engagement. As the project moves deeper into implementation, we are adding the business analysis expertise to help establish the process and capability foundation required to meet the project objectives .
Beau Bryant joined us on October 12 as Senior IT Business Analyst and has been working with the project team to determine the best approach for process optimization and delivery. He will initiate effort to understand and develop current-state and future-state processes, define requirements, help end users test and adopt new workflows, and ensure that solutions enable end users to do their best work.
About Beau

Beau Bryant is a higher education technology professional with more than 15 years of experience. He has lead business process analysis, requirements development, and change management for large-scale, multi-institution technology initiatives. He has deep expertise in advancement and CRM systems and is Prosci ADKAR certified.
Most recently, Beau was a Senior Consultant in Professional Services at Ellucian, where he consulted on CRM Advancement implementations and partnered with advisors, registrars, and institutional leaders at more than 20 universities on Ellucian CRM Advance. In that role he facilitated process discovery workshops, developed a capability model connecting advancement capabilities to institutional outcomes rather than just product features, and led user acceptance testing to confirm that delivered solutions matched documented requirements.
Before Ellucian, Beau was a Senior Business Analyst at the University of Colorado Boulder, where he identified systemic process and governance gaps across CU Advancement and built the business case that secured cross-institutional executive support and funding for the NextGen CRM initiative across four campuses, the CU Foundation, and CU System offices. He led business analysis from its earliest phases through mid-implementation, mentoring junior analysts and coordinating workstreams in a decentralized governance environment. Other roles include Senior Business Analyst at Ping Identity and Salesforce Analyst at International Justice Mission, and he began his career as an AmeriCorps VISTA with College Possible.
Beau holds a Master of Engineering in Engineering Management from the University of Colorado Boulder, a graduate certificate in Advanced International Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and History from Texas A&M University.
Please join us in welcoming Beau to Cornell.
